Why join BPBHA?

Membership of BPBHA costs just £10 per year.   For this you get:

1. A single voice with Birdham Pool management where issues which effect all berth holders can be voiced

2. The ability to raise issues with committee members for them to take it to Birdham management (anonymously if necessary)

2. An annual social event where you can meet other berth holders

3. Access to the members pages of the BPBHA website with additional useful information about the Pool, view the outcome of committee meetings with Birdham Pool management and Castle Marinas

4. The right to fly the BPBHA membership burgee.

Where does the money go?

The single most expensive item is the annual social event which is free to members and perspective members.   The association is affiliated to the RYA, there is a charge for the affiliation but in turn this provides legal cover for the association and advice in dealing with marina management.  The website costs around £70 per year to maintain and there are other minor costs incurred by the comittee such as distributing information to members and accounting.

How do I join?

Membership of BPBHA is open to all berth holders in Birdham Pool.   All you need to is to let the secretary, treasurer or any of the committee members know that you wish to join.  Copies of the form below are held in the Marina Office, also with committee members.   You can leave the form with the marina office, who will forward to the chairman and secretary.

Joining on line 

Email your details (as the form below)  to the secretary (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) , who will acknowledge the application and provide details of how to BACS the annual subscription to the association bank account.

Leaving

You can leave the association at any time - most members leave when they are no longer Birdham berth holders.  Apart from exceptional circumstances, the annual subscription is not refundable.   Personal data (See GDPR compliance below)  will be deleted on leaving the association.
